Open Arms News
We need you!
The Open Arms Committee, in conjunction with TBE’s Golden Anniversary, is hosting a cultural faire, Celebrate Jewish Riverside, on September 7, 2014.
Unlike our last cultural Faires, we will be holding this one at the temple, and will provide tours to the public of our newly remodeled sanctuary.
We will need a lot of help from our members, both on the date of the event, and before.
First, we need EZ-ups. Lots of EZ-ups, preferably in blue or white, as we’d like the event to have a uniform look.
Please let us know if you have any you can loan to us for that day.
Second, we need volunteers for the day of, setting up, cleaning up, or running or assisting a booth.
Please let us know if you’re interested in helping.
We are also looking to highlight our community’s involvement in the City of Riverside, both in the past, and currently.
So, if you have a business, charity, or other organization you’d like to highlight by having a booth, please let us know.
Finally, we’re looking to make this a fabulous event, and if you have any ideas that would help us to make it awesome, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a huge undertaking, and the more involvement and ideas we have, the better it’ll be.
Please contact Sheri Cruz at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (909) 855-9297 if you would like to volunteer or have any ideas that might make the event even more spectacular.
In other news, save August 9, 2014, for the Second Annual Inside/Outside Social. Last year’s event was a huge success, and we hope to see you there this year!
