for a Shabbat luncheon discussion with Dan Straus, Ph.D. Dan is a relatively new congregant, Professor Emeritus of Biomedical Sciences at UCR and retired professor at the UCR Medical School. He has been actively involved in protecting our right to equitable health care coverage through Reform California. Dan will discuss the current status of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and the Affordable Care Act as well as possible pathways toward universal health care coverage.
